A bed is چرباية (chirbaaya), also called فراش (fraash). A sofa is قنفة (ganafa) — both words you'll hear constantly when Iraqis talk about furnishing a home.

Seating, Baghdadi-style
The everyday word for chair is كرسي (kursi). But in Baghdadi dialect specifically, you'll also hear سكملي (sukumli) for chair — a nice example of how vocabulary can shift even within Iraq's own regions.

Around the room
A table is ميز (meiz). A carpet — a fixture in most Iraqi living rooms — is زولية (zooliyya). And a vase is مزهرية (mazhariyya), used for flowers and as a common decorative gift.

Windows and the bedroom
A window is شباچ (shbaach) — notice the Iraqi 'ch' sound that replaces the Standard Arabic 'k' in a related root. And the bedroom itself is غرفة النوم (ghurfat in-noom), built the same way as Standard Arabic.
